Обґрунтовано доцільність використання в селекції стійких до хвороб сортів пшениці озимої. Наведено результати моніторингу поширення основних хвороб в агроценозах Лісостепу України. Встановлено, що найпоширенішими хворобами були септоріоз листків, борошниста роса, бура іржа. Подано результати багаторічних досліджень стійкості до хвороб колекційних сортів пшениці озимої різного еколого-географічного походження. Виявлено 76 нових перспективних джерел стійкості до фітопатогенів, які рекомендовано селекціонерам для подальшої селекційної роботи.
