Оцінка селекційного матеріалу кукурудзи, адаптованого до умов Степу України, за алельним станом гена β-каротингідроксилази1

Наведено результати молекулярно-генетичного аналізу алельного стану гена b-каротингідроксилази1 у 63 самозапильних інбредних ліній кукурудзи вихідної комбінації СМ358wВН41. У польових умовах упродовж 2018—2019 рр. оцінено загальну комбінаційну здатність (ЗКЗ) та специфічну комбінаційну здатність (СКЗ) за урожайністю та збиральною вологістю зерна досліджуваних ліній. За допомогою факторного аналізу визначено частки впливу генотипу самозапильних ліній та ліній-тестерів, умов вегета­ційного періоду року на ознаки урожайності та збиральної вологості зерна. В результаті дослідження поліморфізму 3'-кінця гена crtRB1 ідентифіковано 12 ліній зі сприятливим алелем розміром 543 пн, що характеризувались підвищеним вмістом каротиноїдів у зерні. В середньому за 2018—2019 рр. високу оцінку ЗКЗ за показником «урожайність зерна» отримали лінії RLI19 і RLI34 (відповідно 3,36 та 3,72 т/га). За показником «збиральна вологість зерна» серед досліджених самозапильних ліній найліпшими виявились лінії RLI19 і RLI49 з низькими оцінками ЗКЗ у 2018—2019 рр.: відповідно —1,58 та —1,3 %. За урожайністю зерна лінії RLI19 і RLI34 з високою оцінкою ЗКЗ за 2018—2019 рр., є практично цінними як селекційний матеріал для гетерозисної селекції і можуть бути широко використані у програмах гібридизації. Лінії кукурудзи RLI19 і RLI49, із низькою оцінкою ЗКЗ за показником «збиральна вологість зерна» доцільно використовувати для створення гібридів із низькою вологістю зерна. В результаті досліджень визначено, що на урожайність тесткросів і збиральну вологість зерна кукурудзи найбільше впливають умови вегетаційно­го періоду року — відповідно 58 і 36 %. Отже, визначення ліній, перспективних для створення гетерозисних гібридів за урожайністю, ґрунтується на високих оцінках ефектів ЗКЗ і СКЗ, а лінії, цінні для отримання гібридів із низькою збиральною вологістю зерна — на найнижчих оцінках ефектів ЗКЗ та варіансів СКЗ.
